Official TranscriptsOfficial transcripts from each college or university you’ve attended.

Letters of RecommendationThe online MSW program requires three letters of recommendation. Recommendations must be submitted by persons outside of the applicant’s friends or family who have direct knowledge of the applicant’s character and abilities. One must be academic.

In the event the applicant cannot supply an academic reference (because, for example, they graduated from their undergraduate program many years ago and do not have contact with previous instructors), the applicant should include a personal statement explaining why they do not have an academic reference. A professional reference should then be included instead.
