An Online MSW Rooted in Social Justice

At the University of Montana, we take an integrated-practice approach premised on the inseparability of individual struggles and social issues such as poverty, discrimination, oppression and social injustice. We seek to engage individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities in strengthening personal capacities, social programs and public policies.

The Master of Social Work (MSW) online program at UM is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). After graduation and once state requirements are met, you can earn your licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) credential and help meet the rising demand for highly qualified social workers.*
