Technology is vital when participating in an online program. At the University of Montana, we are committed to giving you the assistance you need with 24/7 tech support.

You’ll have access to the following as a student at the University of Montana:

  • Email: You will receive a university email account to communicate with classmates and instructors to monitor important information about your classes and program.
  • Moodle: Moodle is our learning management system. It’s used for course announcements, assignments, quizzes, tests, grades and more.

In addition to Moodle, your instructors may use:

  • UMBox: This is another avenue for course material distribution.
  • Zoom: Your instructors may use Zoom for live interaction.
